During this Nature Discovery Tour, you will explore the hidden treasures of biodiversity in the palatine forest.
During this two-and-a-half-hour walk, you will discover the wide range of native tree species and the many small wonders of nature – from oaks with their mysterious galls to nettles that serve as nurseries for countless insects. You will also learn how climate change, pests, and the introduction of new tree species are transforming the forest.
At the end of the tour, we take a look into the future: Which trees will shape the Palatinate Forest of tomorrow?
The walk concludes with practical tips on how everyone can make a personal contribution to supporting biodiversity.
